The reality is...

People aren't saving enough. The conversations that Financial Mentors have everyday with employees, of all ages and income levels, are important to identifying root causes and making small changes that can make a big difference.

As a Financial Mentor, here are a few of the national stats that keep me up at night.
  • Over 40% of Americans have less than $10,000 in assets  Source
  • $3,000 is the Median retirement balance for working-age households Source
  • 65% of Americans have NOTHING saved for retirement Source
These stats paint a grim picture. But I believe that through one-on-one conversations we can help employees get back on the right track.
Money Mentor
At Financial Elements, we don't wait for people to call us... we call them.  We schedule times to chat one-on-one and we help identify small changes that they can make to address their unique financial challenges.
Talking about finances is hard and we understand the importance of providing a
consistent mentor and accountability partner for all employees.
We also utilize technology to better understand each situation. Our first step is to have employees take an online financial assessment. This way we can work together to...
  • Create a personal spending report so that people can see where their money is going
  • Build a budget so that they can start to plan spending and savings goals
  • See trends in cash flow and net worth
  • Monitor how their investments are managed
  • Estimate their 'Lifetime Income' including a Social Security calculator
  • Define financial priorities and see their credit score

But even with the use of this technology, we believe that "The Human Element" is critical to making a real and lasting change and that everyone's financial wellness matters. If you'd be interested in introducing Financial Elements to your organization please let us know at
